Therapy Services

Taking the first step toward change takes courage, and we’re glad you’re here. Life can feel overwhelming at times, but you don’t have to navigate it alone. We offer a safe, supportive space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings without judgment.

We work with adults, teens, children (7+), and offer parent consultations for younger kids. Our approach is personalized and evidence-based, tailored to meet your unique needs—whether you're managing anxiety, depression, trauma, or simply wanting to support your overall well-being.

We utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities in order to achieve your desired goals. We firmly believe that you are the expert in your experience, our role is to hold the map as you navigate new territory. We center the therapeutic relationship, holding the broader context of societal influences and anti-oppressive practice, in order to help center you in your own experience.

Therapy is available both online and in-person. If we’re not the best fit for your needs (because we aren't one size fits all!), we’ll gladly guide you to other trusted resources. We are unable to see folks who have open criminal/legal matters, are mandated to attend counselling, or children of separation where there is not yet a custody/parenting agreement.
For those without access to private benefits, or struggling financially, subsidized short-term counselling is available through Wainwright & District FCSS (780-842-2555) and Provost FCSS (780-753-2288).

Supervision

Supervision is more than a professional requirement—it’s a space for reflection, learning, and growth. Jamie Rowswell offers clinical supervision for social workers and mental health professionals who want to strengthen their practice while staying connected to their values, well-being, and the people they serve.

With certification in Clinical Social Work Supervision from the University of Calgary, Jamie provides a supportive, trauma-informed approach that balances clinical skill-building with honest conversation about the challenges and complexities of this work.

Whether supervisees are pursuing registration, getting established in private practice, or looking to feel more grounded and confident in their role, supervision with Jamie is collaborative, practical, and rooted in the belief that who they are as a person shapes how they show up as a professional.
